part 1
Emotions - a bridge into the unknown,
built out of stone and carved in stone
A flash out into the darkness –
agitate, illuminate, and penetrate
Uncertainty, the right to err - you never know
if it’s aiming high or aiming low
It’s you who takes the risk now to fall,
it’s hit or miss, a trial ball
It’s your emotions
Build a bridge into the unknown,
On a mountain ridge, a corner stone
You’re standing proud on the ground
You reap the crop, you’re on top
But all you’ve learned or done or tried
From now on stays behind
So at the end each time you choose
It’s in your hands, to win or lose
That’s what it’s all about …
part 2
Emotions, self-made wall
between man and the outer world
Projector, panorama –
reflections around us
Build a bridge into the unknown,
on a mountain ridge, a corner stone
You’re standing proud on the ground –
reap the crop, your on top
Speculate, ejaculate,
demonstrate love and hate
Juxtapose effect and cause
and compose your own Universe
Rise, rise, rise way above yourself
Got to break outside from the prison cell
Freedom bell has tolled, all is said and told
Let your life unfold past the new threshold
Leave behind those illusive worlds
Time to free your mind from elusive words
Day has come to find it’s a waste of time
Pure waste of time, keep it in your mind
Bulge, indulge, swell, propel
Burst, protrude, spread, intrude
Such and such - way too much
Had enough of this stuff
part 3
Emotions … Let’s imagine: our life is a huge battlefield.
And in the middle of this battlefield there’s a great tower.
On top of this tower there’s a radar.
The radar goes up and down, back and forth,
left and right. It scans the horizon.
And the objects appear on the screen as friends or foes…
And what’s more important, the screen is an imaginary,
hallucinatory screen of our emotional perception.
To cut the long story short, that’s basically what the whole thing is about
Burning fire of desire.
Hey, no wander, it’s all about a liar
Our emotions – a manifestation
Of what we are, a reflection in the mirror of Creation,
Or is it the world reflecting in us? Who knows?
And we’re the mirror, a reflection
A frail attempt of self-identification
A demarcation line, an isolation
Even at the cost of intoxication
We find a target to taste and bite
Caring not if it’s wrong or right
All just to show we’re one of a kind
No denial of your trial.
Hey, no wander, there’s an eternal while
There’s no-one beside you … No … No…
You must be proud of what you have done
Great architect like no other one
With ups and downs, and rises and falls
You’ve built the fortress, all these towers and walls
Emerald lawns and welcoming halls
But wait a sec, Mister “That-Is-All-Right”
I will be frank, there’s nothing to hide
Open your eyes, no time to be blind
Just look around, you’re now locked inside
And there’s no one, no one by your side
No-one like you, no-one like you.
Hey, no wander, there’s really no-one like you
No-one to bear the burden with you
No-one to dare to wander with you
No-one to share with the trues and untrues
No-one to care whatever you do
No-one to feel the way that you do
No-one to join you on your pilgrimage
No-one to walk with through the passage
No-one to help turn over the page
You’re all alone trapped in the cage
You’ve sacrificed your old heritage
Hard as iron. brave as lion.
Hey, no wander, there’s nothing to rely on
You’re alone (I'm alone)
And you’re on your own (I’m on my own)
You’re blind to behold (Blind to behold)
As your future unfolds (Future unfolds)
Still you carrying on (I’m carrying on)
